Ire­na Jun - ak­tor­ka i re­ży­ser­ka te­atral­na zwią­za­na ze sto­łecz­nym Te­atrem Stu­dio im. Sta­ni­sła­wa Igna­ce­go Wit­kie­wi­cza od po­cząt­ku jego ist­nie­nia. Wie­lo­let­nia wy­kła­dow­czy­ni Aka­de­mii Te­atral­nej w War­sza­wie. Zwią­za­na z ama­tor­skim ru­chem te­atral­nym i re­cy­ta­tor­skim jako men­tor­ka oraz ju­ror­ka fe­sti­wa­li i kon­kur­sów.

We wo­uld like to in­vi­te you to Ire­na Jun's work­shop on the cul­tu­re of the li­ving word and the se­arch for a form for the word in the­atre. The star­ting po­int for the explo­ra­tion will be the work of Jó­zef Cze­cho­wicz and the de­ve­lop­ment of skills of sta­ge in­ter­pre­ta­tion of a poem. On the ba­sis of clas­sic te­xts of Po­lish po­etry, the emi­nent edu­ca­tor will work with the­atre en­thu­sia­sts on how to use te­xts wi­thin ac­ting in­ter­pre­ta­tion, de­pen­ding on the in­ten­tion, con­text and nar­ra­ti­ve.

The work­shop pro­gram­me in­vo­lves im­pro­ving spe­ech tech­ni­que, wor­king on the cla­ri­ty of expres­sion and han­dling the me­ans of ac­ting expres­sion.

Ire­na Jun - ac­tress and the­atre di­rec­tor as­so­cia­ted with the Sta­ni­sław Igna­cy Wit­kie­wicz Stu­dio The­atre in War­saw, sin­ce its in­cep­tion. She play­ed in the le­gen­da­ry pro­duc­tions of Jó­zef Szaj­na, Je­rzy Grze­go­rzew­ski and An­to­ni Li­be­ra. She is the cre­ator of the Ire­na Jun One-Per­son Po­etry The­atre, with which she has per­for­med in most Eu­ro­pe­an ca­pi­tals and in Au­stra­lia, and has con­ti­nu­ously per­for­med thro­ugho­ut Po­land for se­ve­ral de­ca­des. Re­co­gni­sed as one of the most out­stan­ding Bec­kett role-play­ers in the world (“Wo­men in Bec­kett: Per­for­man­ce and Cri­ti­cal Per­spec­ti­ves”, pu­bli­shed by Uni­ver­si­ty of Il­li­no­is Press, 1992). She has per­for­med in the French the­atre La Co­médie de Sa­int-Étien­ne (“Sig­ma­rin­gen”, di­rec­ted by Da­niel Be­no­in). In Po­lish the­atres - Ka­to­wi­ce, Opo­le, Rze­szów, Szcze­cin, Za­brze, Zie­lo­na Góra - she has di­rec­ted plays ba­sed on the works of A. Fre­dro, A. Mic­kie­wicz and J. Sło­wac­ki. For many years she has been a lec­tu­rer at the The­atre Aca­de­my in War­saw. She has been as­so­cia­ted with ama­teur the­atre and re­ci­ta­tion mo­ve­ment as a men­tor and ju­ror of fe­sti­vals and com­pe­ti­tions.
